I always manage to go overboard on Easter and Christmas dresses, but I do so enjoy doing all of the hand work. The dress is smocked, then beaded with small clear beads at the intersections. Them I did a group of silk ribbon flowers in the center.

I love to embellish little girl’s clothing for all seasons, but summer clothes seem to inspire me more.  Ruffles, embroidery, smocking–all lend their own special flair..
